Renee's Fabric Covered Tray Craft

Here is another fun and inexpensive little craft that I completed for my daughter's room. You have to see how simple this really is!

This is great for perfume bottles, jewelry, slide some pictures under the acrylic as a great frame, Skies the Limit.

Ok, all you need is about a 1/2 yard of fabric, an old cookie sheet, a piece of acrylic and adhesive spray. That's it!

Materials

1. 1/2 yard of fabric
2. old cookie sheet
3. adhesive spray
4. a piece of acrylic cut to fit the inside of the cookie sheet

Directions

1. The first thing you need is to take your fabric and play with it to see how it will fit on the cookie sheet. When you have what looks like a good fit then you will be able to trim the excess.

2. Take spray adhesive and spray the metal sheet and let sit for a few minutes.

3. Take the fabric and mold around the cookie sheet. Smooth out wrinkles as you press on the fabric.

4. When you have the fabric on the front and back of the tray set a piece of acrylic cut to fit the dimensions of the tray. Go to your local home improvement store and have them make a custom cut.

That is it! This particular craft took about 30 minutes. Going to get the supplies to make the craft took the most time.

Here is the finished product. Simple, sophisticated, and chic!

Ciao for now!
