I finally had someone say to me "you look like you have lost weight" FINALLY...I feel like I have been working my BUtt off trying to eat better and work out. When last week or so my Dear H had a few friends say that he looked like he lost weight. UGH Really?? What about me...I waited and NOTHING. HUMM Well maybe I am not losing I thought to myself. Oh well at least I am eating better and I feel like I have more energy...Except for last night crashed at 9:30 on the couch.
When I was talking to my H about his friends saying that he lost weight...HE DID NOT EVEN REMEMBER!!! Seriously if some one says that to ME I have it in my Mental Rolodex that keeps replaying in my head when I think I want a snack. MEN Seriously!!! What EvER!!
Anyway I though I would post some of my eats this past week for you all to see what I have been trying to eat. Now I put Clean, Vegetarian, Vegan because I am participating in all but some times I am slipping up because I don't know all that is in some products. Like last night I had soy crumbles, sweet potato Spinach salad and green beans. But we cooked taco seasoning in the soy crumbles for Tacos. Later I went and read the back of the taco seasoning and there was a milk product in it. It is a work in progress... because that milk sneaks in. I am not sucking down cheese or other things that I know is dairy, I will need to keep a better eye on these things.
Major Accomplishment my youngest son ate the Soy Taco meat. I just let him know we had taco meat and if he wanted that or left over sloppy joe and he chose the Taco Meat. He ate a whole bowl and did not say anything about the meat tasting any different. Well now it is converting the older one. If I can slip in a meat free meal or vegetable for them every now and then it will be good for them.
